Recent studies on organizational culture have revealed that one of the important drivers that leads to engagement and belonging in the workplace, is finding meaning in the work we do and the people we work with.

Meaningful work and relationships are important for all contemporary businesses, big and small.

People are increasingly driven by the impact they can make on products & services, communities, and society as a whole.

That’s why we created Team Circles - peer group conversations that bring and create meaning, clarity and connectedness.

What TEAM CIRCLES are about:

SELF DISCOVERY & GROWTH: explore personal values and beliefs, become part of a supporting system that accepts you for who you are, receive honest, caring and meaningful feedback that helps you grow.

TEAM DISCOVERY & GROWTH: define shared purpose and values that unite the team and take it to the next level, build a truly remarkable and productive team from the inside out.

NEW WAYS OF RELATING TO EACH OTHER: establish new habits and healthy bonds among team members, as high performing teams are a result of the way the separate parts interact with each other and how they relate to the whole.

How TEAM CIRCLES are organized:

  • Groups of up to 12 people
  • Structured conversation on topics that are urgent and important for the team and for the individual members
  • Conversational and storytelling format facilitated by an NLP coach and a Storytelling coach
  • Overall program duration - 5 weeks
  • Week 1, 2 & 3: three conversational sessions with an experienced facilitator (1.5-2 hours each)
  • Week 4: A five-day Journaling Challenge sent by email every day
  • Week 5: Final recap session (1.5-2 hours) containing findings, recommendations and new courses of action

TEAM CIRCLES Agenda Outline:

  • Welcome and setting intentions for the circle
  • Check-ins - “arriving” at the circle and adjusting to the environment and the energy of the peer group
  • Exploring a group challenge, creating space for people to share personal ones and receive group coaching support
  • Group debrief: reflect on the exercises and the insights from the circle
  • Check out - closing the circle with а shared experience


Maria Padalski and Angelina Penkova created People Portal following 15 years of successfully building their corporate careers. Their main purpose is to explore and design tools, learning environments and methodologies that enable leaders build workplaces which allow people to create value and meaning for themselves, their organizations, and society as a whole.
